I think (not sure if this is right), it is from Australia? I would be led to believe so~
Anywhos. It's basically a mix of styles incorperated into your own in a way? It's used for mustering, and other cattle type things.
You use a stock saddle, obviously ;)

Yay stock!

I'm glad someone is recognising it :)
Its somewhat difficult being in a world of english riders and saddles, saying "well I'm more of a bush rider"

Ahayeah :'D

Actually I think the best excuse of a style would be at Glendworth Valley when they asked me and my friend what we rode xD She said Stock, and I said 'uhh...in my backyard...' because I ride a mix western and stock in a dressage saddle :XD:
Hahaha!
I was flicking through a horseland mag, and saw a cheap stock saddle, and was like fomg :) Cause I've got this dressage saddle and its like waay old its amazing! But I was like man I love riding in stock saddles, so thats on my wishlist.

Lol all my tack is hand-me-down and at the very least 15 years old :P
I think my dressage saddle is 20yrs? Lol. Still in fine condition, save that the leather had gotten 'furry' xD
Stock is awsome to ride in, especially because of the design, but not good for your back apparently? Or should I say, a lot of saddles arn't made with the rider's back in mind D:
Not good for backs? Well..I surely never had a problem and I rode many different types, ages and sizes of stocks and my back is fine....
Hmmmmm....
(:
